This post outlines a workflow that uses stable diffusion for creating or editing Adobe Illustrator-type images or infographics.

Utilizing Stable Diffusion in Image Editing

Stable diffusion is employed in this workflow to allow modification of every element, shape, or object in the image directly with prompts. Just select the element you want to modify, and then use stable diffusion as you would normally. This approach offers a level of accuracy similar to controlNet segmentation, with the added benefit of more direct control and keeping text intact.

Simple Usage With Blockey

The process is as straightforward as selecting the section of the image to edit and then modifying it with prompts. Map bashing can be optionally used in conjunction to provide an outline of what you want in that section of the image.

Manual Process in A1111

For those using A1111, the process can be more hands-on, as blockey appears to be the only tool that can automate this process. If you prefer to do it manually:

  1. Export Every Layer of Your Image as Black and White: This separation allows for more precise manipulation.
  2. Manually Perform the Inpainting: This step can be done by hand, following your specific requirements.

Or just use Blockey and save yourself the pain :)

In the gallery, results for a hair loss infographic are presented, demonstrating the possibilities when using this workflow.
